Despite the rains, it’s an all go for the Tipco fruit juice relaunch in the Philippines at the Stock Market Cafe in Bonifacio High Street. The relaunch is just timely, considering that July has been hailed by the Philippine government as Nutrition month.
The event was attended by representatives of different magazines, newspapers, and TV networks in the country. A handful of bloggers, including yours truly, were also present.
Reputed as the best selling fruit juice in Thailand, Tipco fruit juice has already been available in the Philippines since 2005. According to Marvin Hung, Chief Financial Officer of Transaxion Unlimited Corporation (the distributor of Tipco fruit juice in the country), aside from relaunching the brand, they were also going to introduce a new Tipco fruit juice product line as well as an exciting promo.
During my conversation with Marvin before the start of the event, he dared me to try out the Broccoli juice. Yes, you read it right! Apparently, out of all the different Tipco fruit juice flavors, this is the most popular. I must say, I was a bit hesitant. Most of the veggie juices I’ve tried have tasted grassy and well, veggie. As the waiter poured the juice, the color wasn’t helping to make me feel better. But after taking the first sip, I have to say I was surprised, to say the least. None of that grassy taste. In fact, it tasted very much like orange juice. Not surprising, since Marvin mentioned that they mixed a few fruits into it (orange being one of them) to make the juice sweeter and more appealing to drink, especially with the kids.

Adeline, yes! I love broccoli juice! I have tried mine with pear juice and I think it tastes great! Surprisingly
I am interested there is a brand out there that is selling it–I have actually looked for it in the stores, but never have found anything close to it. I have always made mine at home from scratch. Is Tipco going to sell outside the Philippines?
Thanks for dropping by, Bethany. I haven’t yet tried it with pear, but I’ll definitely give that a try.
Actually, Tipco is from Thailand. It’s being imported here to the Philippines. I’ve done a bit of checking for you, and you can try buying from Alibaba.com. You can check it out.
