About Saltimbanco

Hailed as the depiction of classic Cirque du Soleil at its finest, Saltimbanco (which comes from an Italian phrase meaning “to jump on a bench”) is the group’s longest-running production. With a cast of 50 artists from 20 different countries, Saltimbanco features breathtaking acrobatics combined with awe-inspiring artistry and agility.

Saltimbanco tells the story of daily urban experiences and idiosyncrasies amidst the hustle and bustle happening along the streets and within towering skyscrapers. The blend of costumes, visuals, music, magic and color promises to take you into another world where diversity is a cause for hope, making a must-watch show for the whole family.

About Cirque du Soleil

From its humble beginnings in 1984 with 20 street performers, Cirque du Soleil is today a major organization with over 1,300 performing artists from more than 50 countries. Based in Quebec, Canada, Cirque du Soleil has performed in more than 300 cities worldwide.

Saltimbanco Updates

Hoopla Inc. released an announcement on their website that the pre-selling of the tickets to Saltimbanco in Manila that supposed to have happened last November 30 had been postponed due to problems in their ticketing system. I’ll be posting the new dates here once they are released.
