My life has been a result of the choices that I’ve made, big and small. Where should I go? What would I eat? How can I make a difference? We all have our share of choices to make on a daily basis, and it’s up to us whether we would maximize the time that we have been given, or just allow it to float away. However we choose to live each moment out, it is time that we can never get back.
What Makes Life and Leisure Different?
I started out Life and Leisure to be just a food and travel blog where I can share about the places I’ve been, and tried. As I continued on my blogging journey, I realized that traveling and living in style goes beyond talking about the upcoming events happening in Manila where I live, or reading about restaurant reviews to know where to eat (or avoid).

Life and Leisure features travel destinations in the Philippines. Some are popular while others have yet to be discovered. With the Department of Tourism reaching out to us Filipinos to do our part to encourage local travelers and tourists to visit the Philippines. I want my blog to be my little contribution to promote my country as a great destination in Asia.
Food is an integral part of any culture, so alongside restaurant reviews, I’ll also share many of the Filipino food that are close to my heart.
Just as I see so many great things about my country and life in the Philippines, I love traveling to different countries and learning about the people. In the past, I’ve traveled and visited quite a number of countries and cities. One thing I’ve noticed is that while they can be rather quirky, unpredictable, or just plain different, there’s always something about these places that are worth visiting. Starting 2012, I will be traveling to different parts of the world again, and I’ll be sharing my experience to you here in the hopes that I can help you decide where to go on for your next vacation.
A Life Beyond Myself
Living in style goes beyond just being fashionable and updated. It’s living a life that is based on a particular character or traits that make you and I unique. While I enjoy life’s simple and luxurious pleasures, I am not blind to the things happening around me that I see and hear about. It’s a constant reminder for me that not only should I be grateful for the life I live, but also that the choices I make affects the lives of other people as well. I believe that having a well balanced life is the best way to travel and live in style, and that’s why I also use my blog by helping various organizations that make a difference not just for those living in the Philippines, but also in other countries in their quest to achieve their decision to make this world somehow a better place to live in.
It is my hope that Life and Leisure will be a blog that will help you not only choose to visit the Philippines, but help you other decisions your facing as well.
